I’m Eleonora, but most people know me as Your Italian Bestie.

I started this journey because I was tired of seeing cookie-cutter travel advice and stereotypes about Italy that didn’t feel true. I wanted to share a more authentic side of my country: the places I actually love to eat at, the traditions I grew up with, and the little spots that make each city feel special.

I was born in Rome in December 1995, and over the years I’ve called some of Italy’s most beautiful places home: Rome, Rimini, Vasto (in the Abruzzo region), and even Siena. Moving so often has given me a deep connection to different regions and a perspective that goes beyond the average Italian experience.

Your Italian Bestie is my way of passing that knowledge on to you, a curated collection of my favorite spots, cultural insights, and insider tips to help you travel like a local, but mostly my bestie.

When I’m not exploring Italy, you’ll usually find me at the beach, snorkeling in crystal waters, planning my next adventure in Southeast Asia, or behind a camera capturing moments that inspire me. And no matter where I am, I’ll always be talking about Italy.
